WIJIS Gateway Testing Approach

Local law enforcement agencies have two areas of testing responsibility:

1) Justice Integration Layer interfacing, which includes submission certification, when the agency acts as a submitter or as an operator and

2) User interface, which is the Gateway search web application.

This Approach document covers user interface testing.

The population of testers is divided into two categories: those who will conduct free-form, UnstructuredTesting and those who will conduct StructuredTesting that follows documented test procedures. Both categories of testers provide very important Gateway testing, and both will document experiences within the Gateway.
